The freezer was purchased new in April 2021. The freezer worked fine but occasionally would make a noise that did not sound normal (hard to describe the noise - grinding, rattling). The freezer stopped working approx. July 21 or 22. Contacted Whirlpool who requested we have the freezer inspected by a local repair company to see if it could be fixed for under $500. If the repair was to cost more than $500, Whirlpool will send repair parts and pay for the repair.
